Your donations to this initiative will go toward meeting the needs of families in the Cocke County area (Newport, TN) who were affected by Hurricane Helene. We have “adopted” this community and have been and will continue to help meet needs there for the next year or more. We have already sent about a dozen teams of volunteers to assist, mainly in their large distribution center for emergency supplies. The warehouse has now shifted to storing building supplies to help rebuild the many damaged homes there.
Attention has recently turned to helping the nearly 350 children whose families were significantly impacted by the hurricane have a great Christmas, despite the tragedy. Your gifts will go toward purchasing Walmart gift cards to help these family buy toys or food this Christmas season.
Pray for each child affected by the hurricane, many of whom still are still displaced from their homes.
Pray that our volunteers have a chance to minister in Jesus' name and be able to share the gospel to those with open hearts in Cocke County.
