Christians are called to be light and salt, ambassadors for Jesus in a culture of confusion. But how do we pursue justice for the oppressed without appearing judgmental to our neighbor? Can we advocate for righteousness while respecting other religions? How can we be both citizens of this country while servants of Christ? We live in a hyper-politicized culture. In a day when many think that the gospel is either antithetical to government or that political engagement is the gospel, Christians need a vision for politics that is drawn from Scripture and rooted in core doctrines of the gospel.
Join us for this four-part class as we explore how principles from gospel doctrines inform and inspire a Christian worldview of politics. This class will meet on Oct 8, 22, 29, & Nov 5 at 6:30 PM, and child care will be available for birth-5th grade. This study will be led by Matthew Mihelic, our church planting resident who is also a professor of political science at Boyce College.
