A TIME For Vision and Prayer

We are excited to host this retreat to provide us all the opportunity to gather together for expanded times of sharing, processing together, and highly focused moments of prayer. Thanks to a wonderful supporter of Shoreline, all expenses associated with these gatherings are covered and will cost you nothing but the time you invest into it.

We hope you will be able to join us for one of our upcoming Vision and Prayer Retreats! We know everyone is busy, so we are offering two date options in order to accommodate as many people’s schedules as we can. Both weekends will have the same schedule of events and details.

We ask you to prepare your hearts to come hear what God is doing and has done in others. Come ready to share how God called your family to Shoreline and how He has moved through the people of Shoreline.

Hello, friends!

As you have hopefully heard me mention recently, we are looking forward to celebrating our 10 year anniversary this fall. We’re also excited to take some exciting next steps as a church in this upcoming chapter of our ministry. Great days are ahead.

With that said,

You have received an invitation in the mail regarding our first round of prayer and vision gatherings this August. We’ve provided you a couple different options to choose from, and I’d like to personally ask you to make every effort to attend one. As I have communicated, we are fully committed to including everyone who is interested in participating in this important season of our church. As a result, we’ve tried our best to provide multiple dates and various types of events to accommodate different people’s schedules. Also, thanks to 2-3 wonderful supporters of Shoreline, all expenses associated with these gatherings are covered and will cost you nothing but the time you invest into it. 

With all this said, we’d like to ask for just a bit more of your time than we may initially ask of others. In this first round of gatherings, we really hope to have some expanded times of sharing, processing together, and highly focused moments of prayer. This first group of attendees includes men whom I've been investing into over the last couple of years and their wives. It also includes representatives from all of our major ministry areas who have been invited by the various staff members who lead those ministries. Each and every one of you are critically important as we pray and refine this vision before presenting it before the entire body. 

In an effort to maintain unity and avoid any type of confusion or someone feeling left out, please be mindful that everyone in your life group, volunteer team, etc. may or may not be included in this initial group. To be very clear, these retreats are not secret gatherings. Rather, they’re just early gatherings that are a tad longer for a specific reason. But by all means, if you get word that someone really wants to jump in at this earliest stage as well, just let us know.
