Door greeters are some of the first faces people see on Sunday mornings! This role is more than holding a door—it sets the tone for a great Sunday morning experience! Whether it’s someone’s first time on campus or their 100th, we want everyone to experience the love of JESUS, and this starts at the doors!

A big part of a great Sunday experience is finding a seat! Ushers help seat people each service, making this part of a Sunday morning easy for both guests and regulars.

Info Tents are a place where people can find all of the information they need about Shoreline. The volunteers serving here will welcome both guests and regulars and help them find ways they can plug in to the life of our church.

The volunteers in this area will welcome people to Shoreline by helping with flow of traffic and finding parking for every one on our campus.

This team supports Sunday volunteers! They serve by maintaining the volunteer and green room on Sunday mornings.

This team is made up of people from the medical field who ensure that proper medical help is available to assist those in need while on campus.

This team works with our police officers to ensure the campus is safe at all times, addressing issues when appropriate.
Shoreline Kids is committed to showing the next generation that they are loved by Jesus. We need many volunteers serving in many different ways to accomplish this. When you serve with us, you are investing in the lives of the children and families God has brought to Shoreline.
Areas to serve:

Welcomes and assists new & existing families during the check-in process on Sunday mornings.

Serves in our baby, walker, or toddler room.

Serves with our 3-5 year olds. All lessons are provided.

Serves with our 1st-5th graders. All lessons are provided.

Plans group lessons for Little Cove (preschool), The Dock (1st-3rd grade), or Splash Landing (4th-5th grade). Curriculum is provided.

Buddy Crew pairs trained volunteers with children with special needs during our Sunday gatherings. Our buddies will support children with special needs so that they can participate in our children’s ministry to their full potential.
In Shoreline Students, we strive to lead students to become passionate about Jesus’ fame and renown. Our mission is for students to know Jesus and make Him known through gospel, community, and mission. We need volunteers who are willing to help 6th-12th graders understand who they are, who God is and want it means to be disciples to Jesus.

These volunteers lead weekly small group sessions for MS or HS students. They walk alongside students and continue to point them back to the ways of Jesus.

Shoreline Students hosts special events throughout the year and is always looking for leaders! Events like Beach Week, Knox WKND, etc. are intended to help students experience the love of God in an intensive way. We have a variety of ways to support and serve during these events.
Shoreline College and Young Adult ministry is designed for those 18-25 years old. This ministry’s purpose is to see young adults gather together to build community, grow in their faith, and make Jesus known.

The Production Ministry is essential in making sure that each church service runs smoothly and that every person in the congregation can fully engage in the worship experience. From audio to video, lighting, and more, this team plays a key role in creating an unforgettable environment for everyone attending. No experience required!

Ensure that the sound quality during services is clear and balanced. If you have an ear for sound or want to learn, this role is perfect for you!

Operate cameras and manage video content to capture and stream the service. This role is ideal for anyone interested in working with video equipment or storytelling.

Help set the mood and atmosphere with lighting. You’ll work with stage lighting to make sure it enhances the experience for everyone in the room.

Be the behind-the-scenes coordinator who helps with the flow of the service. You’ll work with various teams to make sure everything is ready at the right time.

Oversee the entire production process during the service. This role requires someone who can stay organized and think on their feet to help things run smoothly.

Manage the display of lyrics, sermon slides, and videos using ProPresenter, a powerful software. If you like working with technology and have an eye for detail, this role is for you.
The Gather Team is all about Sunday gatherings! We need volunteers who can help make Sundays great through organizing communion supplies and helping with people getting baptized.

These volunteers with work with the Worship Team to procure and prepare elements for Communion before and after Sunday services.

These volunteers will help encourage and support people getting baptized. They will make sure the person being baptized has their t-shirt, towel, and knows where to go and when.
Life Groups are Jesus-centered communities of fellowship and relationship building. Life Groups are how you can know others and be fully known. A life group is a community of usually around 10-12 friends and neighbors who meet regularly in each other’s homes. Each group serves as a hub for care and prayer where the body of Christ can rally around one another through times of joy and sorrow.
