Have you ever wondered how the New Testament relates to the Old? Or how Adam relates to Abraham who relates to the apostles who relate to Shoreline Church? As Christians, we are Bible people. And if we are to be whole Bible people, we must view it as vastly more than a random assortment of different books or random stories.
Rather, the Bible tells one overarching narrative through ages and prophecies, and covenants and empires in which God is weaving together a majestic story of redemption with his glory at the blazing center. To read the Scriptures as they are meant to be read, and to see more clearly the heart of God through each page, we want to witness the Bible’s major themes as they are traced from Genesis through Revelation and find their ultimate fulfillment in Christ.
